"what if the wolves come?"
"YIELD," ARYA SUGGESTED
Roos van Bosstraeten in ”A Place in The Sun” by Mario Testino for W September 2000
i just love the idea of arya being like the starks pack mother. she was, as far as we know, the only one who got ned’s lone wolf speech. and she really took it to heart. she’s devoted to her family and spends most of her story trying to be reunited with them. when she believes most of them dead and winterfell burned arya tries to make a new pack with hot pie and gendry. she feels responsible and protects them like she would any other member of her family
They were her pack, her friends, the only living friends that remained to her, and if not for her they would still be safe at Harrenhal, […] I won’t let them take us, she vowed silently, reaching over her shoulder to touch the hilt of the sword that Gendry had stolen for her. I won’t.
arya took care of weasel (and stayed behind to drag the little girl to safety), offered to find food for the boys, and risked her own life to save gendry. when it comes to her pack arya is selfless, caring, and loyal. she looks after her own better than anyone i think.
lol @ this gifset with every nobody tyrell and d&d’s OC but not arya

-He wants to be a knight of the Kingsguard… he can’t be one now, can he?
-No. But he could be lord of a holdfast, or sit on the King’s council, or raise castles like Brandon the Builder.
Oh, Anna. If only there was someone out there who loved you.
